Standalone Intruder Alarm Systems

The most well-known and understood of Intruder Security Devices are Intruder Alarms. A Click 24 Intruder Alarm system is installed around a design that is bespoke to the client, the business and premises.

Door Contacts, Movement Detection, Break Glass Units, Door Guards, and Panic Alarms are standard to most installations and allow the system to respond to an attempted entry by activating and sounding an Alarm.

Monitored Alarm Systems

An Intruder Alarm system design is application based and will vary in size and complexity dependent upon the level of threat and risk the business may attract, as determined via a risk assessment.

You may opt or be advised to have your Intruder Alarm monitored 24/7 so that if it is triggered by criminal activity or suffers a system failure, signals are sent to an Alarm Receiving Centre. This can be achieved by a range of products such DualCom or Redcare and will allow various parties such as the Police or Keyholders to be informed and take appropriate action.

Immediate Information

When the system signals to a remote monitoring station, the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) will notify you or your business’ Keyholders of an activation on your Intruder Alarm system. Police Response can also be initiated if they are registered as a verified signal on a new system.

The most common approach used for the verified signal is a sequential one. The first signal will alert the monitoring station and, only when a second signal is received, known as the confirmation signal, the ARC will ensure the police are alerted and called out.

The efficiency of this method helps to ensure that security matters within your business are dealt with as quick as possible by the appropriate people.
