Access Control via GSM opens a Salford School Gate

We’ve recently been tasked with sorting out problems on an electronic gate for a local school, the entrance provides security to three buildings, with changes on site there are people who need to control the gate who are on the move.  visitors to this unit must be allowed access and supervised.

A Videx 4000 series unit has a SIM card installed and dials out from the unit allowing thee visitor to talk to the staff over a mobile network, the unit will call a series of mobile or land line numbers, staff simply depress buttons on the handset to open the door

This is a  low cost solution compared to installing ducting, the system has the added advantage of being able to call a series of numbers rather than a single caller per button installed on the panel
